We Can Text You!

We are using our text messaging service more and more, to invite you for a review, blood test or let you know if a GP would like to see you. You can also you use it to cancel appointments, decline or accept services and let us know if we are doing a good job! Please make sure we have your up to date contact details. You can do this via this website or EMIS access if you are registered. Alternatively, call us and let us know.

Cancel Your Appointment!

Every week a large number of patients fail to attend booked appointments. Please let us know as soon as possible if you can’t keep your appointment then we can give it to someone else! We offer a text messaging service which has the option to cancel an appointment so please make sure we have your up to date contact details.

Out of Hours 

When the surgery is closed if you have an urgent problem that cannot wait until we are open again, please call 111. For anything life threatening call 999.

Phlebotomy Service (Blood tests)

From the 1st October 2018 you will be able to have your blood taken at any of the following GP surgery locations in our area: (You must contact your own surgery to book the appointment)

Hopefully this change will make it easier to make appointments at a time and location convenient to you. Clinic times are to be confirmed once the service has settled in.

Please ensure that you bring your blood test request form with you otherwise you may have to re-book your appointment.

Test Results

The Practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. We will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

Patients can telephone the surgery between 11.00am and 2.00pm daily and choose option 2 to speak to a member of the results team who will be able to help you interpret the results and make an appointment if necessary.

Although our automated service allows direct access to the results team during these hours you can still call and speak to a receptionist who will be able to transfer you between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
