We are using our text messaging service more and more, to invite you for a review, blood test or let you know if a GP would like to see you. You can also you use it to cancel appointments, decline or accept services and let us know if we are doing a good job! Please make sure we have your up to date contact details. You can do this via this website or EMIS access if you are registered. Alternatively, call us and let us know.

Cancel Your Appointment!

Every week a large number of patients fail to attend booked appointments. Please let us know as soon as possible if you can’t keep your appointment then we can give it to someone else! We offer a text messaging service which has the option to cancel an appointment so please make sure we have your up to date contact details.

Out of Hours 

When the surgery is closed if you have an urgent problem that cannot wait until we are open again, please call 111. For anything life threatening call 999.

 The surgery will be closed for staff training from 1pm on Thursday 12th September 2019. For anything urgent that cannot wait until we open the following morning at 8am, please call 111. For anything life threatening dial 999.

Fareham & Gosport CCG


Three doctors  lead the future health service commissioning for people living in the Fareham and Gosport areas, they are:Dr David Chilvers (Waterside Medical Centre), Dr Paul Howden (Whiteley Surgery) and Dr Alan McFarlane (Brook Lane Surgery).


From April 2013, the Fareham and Gosport CCG will commission healthcare for approximately 200,000 people living in the Fareham and Gosport localities.


The Fareham and Gosport CCG is one of three clinical commissioning groups in the Portsmouth area and all will work closely with the local hospital and community healthcare providers to commission health on a wider scale for the whole of Portsmouth and South East Hampshire.
