To maintain the safety of our patients and staff we will continue to offer the majority of patient contact over the telephone with patients being invited into the surgery only if necessary. All requests, where possible, should now be made via eConsult. You can find this form on the homepage of this website or on the NHS App, which is free to download.
eConsults are reviewed throughout the day by our clinical team, they will decide on the most suitable person/team to manage each request. They may be managed on the day, if necessary or may be managed in a routine telephone appointment at a later date.
Each month we have a large number of people who do not attend and do not let us know that they cannot make their appointments. These are wasted appointments which delay others from obtaining appointments they may urgently need. Please help us by telephoning or cancelling your appointment on line as soon as you realise you cannot attend.
We now have a text message reminder service, so please make sure we have an up to date mobile number. This service was introduced to help lower our rate of non-attendance.
