Appointments

appointmentsWe are constantly trying to improve patient access to the doctors. Currently, we offer morning and afternoon emergency walk-in clinics, based on a team approach (one Doctor and one Practice Nurse).

This clinic is open between 8.30am and 10.00am each weekday morning and each weekday afternoon between 3.00pm and 4.30pm.

This clinic is for urgent problems only.  Please do not attend for repeat prescriptions, continuation of sick certificates, medical reports etc.

We also offer routine appointments that may be booked up to two weeks in advance.

Each month we have a large number of people who do not attend and do not let us know that they cannot make their appointments. These are wasted appointments which delay others from obtaining appointments they may urgently need. Please help us by telephoning or cancelling your appointment on line  as soon as you realise you cannot attend.

We now have a text message reminder service, so please make sure we have an up to date mobile number. This service was introduced to help lower our rate of non-attendance.
